Bespoke Training

Tailored access and inclusion training and consultancy for arts organisations

Here at Daryl & Co we get asked to provide training to many different organisations and freelancers. As you can imagine this can take up a lot of time, so we’ve streamlined our approach to ensure those requesting bespoke training can get the most out of it.

Getting started

If you would like to talk to us about bespoke training, we highly recommend that you access our Online Learning first. This will ensure there is a baseline of understanding amongst your team and across your organisation. Then, when we go deeper with the bespoke training, it will be richer, more effective and more embedded for you.

Our approach

For us 'Bespoke' really means just that.

We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand which areas of access and inclusion you would benefit from extra support with. This might be: understanding Audio Description better; embedding accessible workplace practices; creative access; inclusive participation or something else entirely!

When we have agreed a way forward, then we will draw on our community of Disabled artists to find the right training match. This could be someone from the Daryl & Co core team, one of the artists involved with our Online Learning programme, or another member of our community. It all depends on making sure their background, experience and areas of expertise are right for you.

Our experience

In the past we have delivered bespoke training for a wide range of organisations, including:

Mimbre, Spark Arts For Children, Full House Theatre, National Center of Circus Arts, Taking Flight Theatre Company, British Council Japan, British Council Pakistan, Theatre Provo, La Baracca Theatre, Without Walls, Ramshacklicious Theatre Company, Inspire, Cloud Cuckoo Land and Drake Music.

Time to talk

If you're ready to discuss bespoke training and consultancy for your organisation then get in touch!

Email us on training@darylandco.com and tell us a little about your organisation, your current approach to access and inclusion and what you're looking to develop. It helps if you can be as specific as possible, but don't feel you have to capture everything in one go! Just give us a sense of where you're at and where we can help you to go next.
